Still catching up

I am still catching up on getting my photos up to date and making the blog look pretty. But I found this today and wanted to share....it made me cry and I thought other people might be moved too.

I found the story of Jamie Livingston, a man who took a photo each day for 18 years, right up to the day he died. Unfortunately the website of the photos seems to be down, but there is some other info here and here.

It was a warm day so we decided to go to Huskisson beach late in the afternoon. By the time we got there it had turned cool so the kids played in the playground and we had fish and chips for dinner. Then it stormed on the way home.

What a fabulous day!! Apart from being our 11th anniversary, we got a text from Anthea last night to see it we wanted to come down to Burrill Lakes, where they were caravanning, to see them. We had a fantastic day catching up and chatting, it was like the seven years since we had seen each other didn't matter at all.

News Years Day sleep in....ahh. I actually went to bed before midnight last night. There was a street party in full swing and in hindsight it was not the best time to test whether I still have some kind of weird allergy to oysters.

I am reallly hoping I can stick with this every day. I am not the best at completing things...but here goes. I have actually been taking the photos, but here it is almost the end of January and I am just starting this blog. Well nevermind, keeping a positive atitude here...
